Alaska CASC Releases 2020 Annual Report
Each year the Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center compiles a report on their activities over the past year. This year’s report features details on a number of ongoing projects alongside updates on the broader strategies of the CASC, an introduction to CASC Fellow Ross Spicer, and highlights of publications which have come out over the past year from CASC Scientists.
In this report we detail recent developments in Southeast Alaska with the Suicide Basin glacial lake outburst flood project. A long-running effort to collect stories from Alaskans about science, work, life, education and more has come to fruition in the form of the Alaska Voices podcast. A tradition of training and development continues within the CASC, and cooperation grows as Alaska joins forces with the Pacific Islands CASC to discuss collaboration opportunities. All of this and more in this year’s Alaska CASC annual report.
