Alaska Resilience Center
The Alaska Resilience Center is a collaboration between UAF’s International Arctic Research Center and the Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory. The goals of the researchers and graduate students involved in the project are to:
- Review existing guidance on priority needs for information relevant in long-range planning and decision-making contexts
- Identify DOE data and products that are candidates for use in enhancing resilience of Alaska communities
- Facilitate interaction between community partners and DOE scientists to assess potential uses of DOE information
- Determine which data development and delivery steps are both feasible and desirable
