IARC Research
The International Arctic Research Center (IARC) is a premier research institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. It is home to more than 100 scientists, staff, and students working on a wide variety of issues related to Arctic system science, climate change, and climate adaptation. We also maintain strong partnerships with Arctic experts in Russia, Japan, Canada, Germany, Norway, Korea, and China. This combination of expertise and collaborations is aimed at helping people understand and adapt to a changing Arctic climate.
