With climate change ongoing, the Arctic has exhibited some of the most dramatic changes in land, atmosphere, and ocean systems. To improve our understanding of the changing Arctic we need to establish an extensive network for exchanging knowledge and promoting discourse from different scientific communities which share a common interest in the Arctic. This seminar series aims to promote international collaboration between the International Arctic Research Center at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (IARC/UAF) and the Arctic Research Center at Hokkaido University (ARC/HU) primarily focused on ocean sciences. Speakers and participants from other research institutions are also welcome.
