Anjali Shah is an Extreme Weather and Climate Impacts Fellow at the Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Preparedness. As part of the Alaska Fellows Program, she is working on expanding ACCAP’s Historic Extreme Events Library. She creates documents and interactive web pages that clearly communicate the impact of specific extreme events on Alaskan communities. Her background is in earth science and applied mathematics, and she aspires to engage with communities to conduct research that maintains healthy ecosystems and meets local needs.
