Areas of Expertise:

I am a hydrologist interested in changes to water resources that impact human and ecological systems. As a scientist, I have focused on the influences of climate change and climate variability on the hydrology of northern and forested watersheds in the Colorado River basin, Rio Grande, Alaska and Canada. My research interests are primarily: hydrological modeling; remote sensing of solid and liquid water in the soils, air and on the ground; changes in the land surface (forests, vegetation, fire) and associated impacts to the hydrologic regime; and the quantification of uncertainty and sensitivity in hydrologic estimates.
