Micah is an environmental epidemiologist who studies the health impacts of climate change and works with communities to develop effective and locally-tailored strategies for adaptation and resilience. She blends climate, environmental, and social data, and utilizes mixed-methods approaches in her research. She collaborates with academic institutions, government agencies, and communities to tackle real-world health and environmental challenges. In order to address community needs, Dr. Hahn’s prior work has addressed vector-borne and zoonotic diseases, wildfires, extreme heat, air quality, food security, and safe transportation.
