Inspiring Girls* Expeditions

Hannah Perrine Mode is an artist, educator, and researcher focused on integrating arts-based research into Arctic and glacier science. Her work explores how creative practices can deepen connections to environmental science, foster transdisciplinary exchange, and support climate justice. She develops and teaches integrated art-science curricula with organizations including the Juneau Icefield Research Program and Inspiring Girls* Expeditions. Hannah has been a visiting artist with programs such as the International Arctic Science Committee, Parks Canada, and the Vermont Studio Center, and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She holds a B.S. in Studio Art from Skidmore College and an M.F.A. in Visual Art from Mills College.
