This Arctic research map shows Sea Ice Concentration "SIC" data and scientific tracking paths from September 2018 across the Laptev and East Siberian Seas. A dark vessel track is marked with numbered green circles and red stars representing NABOS and CATS research stations and moorings. The colored background indicates ice density, ranging from open water or low coverage in light grey (0%–10%) to dense pack ice in deep red and brown (70%–100%), which is heavily concentrated in the upper-right quadrant of the region.
