Adam joined IARC as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2021. His research interests are broadly focused on understanding how weather and climate impact terrestrial ecosystems and wildfires. As a member of the Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center (CASC), Adam is using statistical modeling and geospatial datasets to study how fire regimes may respond to ongoing and future climate changes in the Alaskan boreal forest and Arctic tundra ecosystems.
